Now that the new gen systems are out and given a while to test them. What's your opinion on them.
For those who don't know what they are, they include the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii.

I'll post my thoughts later.

I'm with Kenshin... I probably won't be getting any of the new systems until they've all had a price drop or two...

I'm planing on buying a 360 soon. The ps3 has no games and nothing special for the console. The graphics don't even impress me at all. I've seen better shit randomly on ps1. Wii also has nothing really great about it expect you get a work out possible.

It'll all depend on the games for me... hopefully by the time I start buying there'll be many games out for all of them.

I've seen two of the three. IE the WII and 360. Given I like to be semi active in the least I would love to purchase the WII when I have a chance. The 360 has impressive graphics. However I think of it as a PC for the TV. So not much inovation to draw me that way. The PS3 I want to avoid given the cost, lack of games, cost of games, and Sony's normal poor product quality.

What do you mean sony's normal poor product quality... PS2 is STILL outselling the 360 (in Japan if no where else).

Anyways the PS3 had/is having a $100 price drop <soon>. Still too costly for me though... but I'm not interested in the other two yet either so :/

Quanity and quality are not one and the same, I have for one owned multipule Nintendo and Sony products, and I can say I've had far more of the Sony to go kaput or break far to easy. I don't care so much for cheapness as I do reliabilty. Thats what I ment.

Now see I had a GCN controller go bad on me but my PS2 one is still going strong... so in that regard... :/

And if I played the GCN half as much as I played my 64 (total hours not neccessarily recently) it'd be broken. Point is dropping to make more money and the life of consoles is declining. If a last gen is beating out a current gen in sales then that means that it's better (whether it's has a better life time, better/more game selection, or whatever)
